Producer Foundry is a business school for independent film, dedicated to helping filmmakers understand how to make a sustainable career in independent film and media. We believe that part of the reason it’s so difficult to make a living as a full-time independent filmmaker is that there is a massive information disparity between the larger players in the industry and smaller independent filmmakers. Knowledge is power, and it is the mission of Producer Foundry to help filmmakers better understand the business behind the film industry so that they have a better shot at creating financially viable companies to not only support themselves, but also pursue their passions as careers.
